Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 can (14 oz/396g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut
- 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and position rack in the center.
- Fit the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, pressing gently and pricking the bottom with a fork.
- In a large bowl, combine chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, shredded coconut, crushed pretzels, crushed graham crackers, chopped pecans, and salt. Mix well.
- Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until all ingredients are evenly coated and combined.
- Spoon the filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until edges are golden and filling is bubbling. Cover crust edges with foil if they brown too quickly.
- Remove from oven and cool completely on a wire rack, at least 2 hours, before slicing and serving. Refrigerate to firm up if desired.
Notes
Use a deep-dish pie plate if possible to accommodate filling.
For a different flavor, substitute chips or nuts based on preference.
Cooling time is essential for clean slices and proper texture.
