- 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
- 2 eggs
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 2 slices of turkey bacon (optional)
- 2 slices of chicken ham (optional)
- Butter or oil for cooking
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: chopped parsley, tomatoes, spinach, chili flakes
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: Slice the bread if needed and have eggs, cheese, turkey bacon, and chicken ham ready. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the turkey bacon: Lightly oil the skillet, cook turkey bacon 2–3 minutes per side until slightly crispy. Remove and keep warm.
- Cook the chicken ham: In the same pan, sear chicken ham slices 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Toast the bread: Butter one side of each bread slice lightly. Toast in a skillet or toaster until golden brown.
- Cook the eggs: Add butter or oil to the skillet, crack eggs, and cook 2–3 minutes for runny yolks or longer for firmer yolks. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the toast: Place toasted bread on a plate. Add a slice of cheese to each bread slice while warm. Layer turkey bacon and chicken ham on top.
- Add the eggs: Place cooked eggs over the meat and cheese. Sprinkle optional toppings like herbs or chili flakes.
- Serve immediately: Enjoy while hot, paired with fresh fruit, salad, or a warm soup.
