- 2 slices of your favorite bread
- 1 ripe banana, sliced
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or preferred type)
- 1–2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon butter (for grilling)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients.
- Peel and slice the banana into thin rounds.
- Lay one bread slice on a clean surface and place cheese slices evenly on top.
- Add banana slices over the cheese and drizzle honey on top.
- Place the second bread slice over the filling.
- Spread butter on the outside of both bread slices.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes, pressing lightly.
- Flip and cook the other side for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
- Check that the cheese is melted and the banana is warm.
- Remove from pan and serve immediately, optionally drizzling more honey on top.
Notes
Use medium heat to prevent burning while ensuring cheese melts.
Thin banana slices prevent mushiness.
Customize with different cheeses, breads, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
