- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley or thyme
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Pat chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of each chicken breast.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove skillet from heat and drizzle hot honey evenly over the chicken.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and roast for 15–20 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
- Remove from oven and sprinkle crumbled feta on top.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Optional: garnish with fresh parsley or thyme.
Notes
Adjust the amount of hot honey to control spice level.
Feta adds tanginess and creaminess; omit or replace with plant-based cheese if desired.
Perfect for serving with rice, vegetables, or salads.
