Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- ½ cup almond flour (or preferred flour)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: chopped fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine cottage cheese and egg, stirring until smooth and fully mixed.
- In a separate bowl, mix almond flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add optional herbs if desired.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the cottage cheese mixture until a slightly thick, uniform batter forms.
- Using a spoon, portion the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening each slightly to form thin chips. Ensure they are evenly spaced.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges turn golden and the centers are firm.
- Remove from the oven and allow chips to cool on a wire rack for 5–10 minutes. They will become crispier as they cool.
- Optionally, sprinkle additional salt, pepper, or fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Make sure to flatten the chips evenly to ensure consistent baking.
Chips can be flavored with a variety of seasonings like chili powder, smoked paprika, or Italian herbs.
Store in an airtight container once cooled to maintain crunchiness.
