- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 2 cups Doritos (any flavor, slightly crushed)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup or homemade cream sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or blend)
- 1 cup chicken ham, diced
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried herbs (optional)
- Butter or cooking spray for greasing the dish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook turkey bacon until crispy, then drain and chop.
- Dice chicken ham and sauté lightly in the same pan.
- Shred or dice cooked chicken and season with paprika, black pepper, and dried herbs.
- In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup with sour cream, half of the shredded cheese, minced garlic, and chopped onion until smooth.
- Add chicken, turkey bacon, and chicken ham to the sauce; stir gently to combine.
- Spread mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Crush Doritos slightly and sprinkle over the top.
- Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese evenly on top of the Doritos.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until the cheese is melted, topping is golden, and sauce is bubbly.
- Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Substitute vegetables like corn or peas for added nutrition.
Use leftover rotisserie chicken to save time.
Adjust Doritos flavor for variation; spicy or nacho cheese options work well.
