  • Yield: 8 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 2 cups Doritos (any flavor, slightly crushed)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup or homemade cream sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or blend)
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (optional)
  • Butter or cooking spray for greasing the dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook turkey bacon until crispy, then drain and chop.
  3. Dice chicken ham and sauté lightly in the same pan.
  4. Shred or dice cooked chicken and season with paprika, black pepper, and dried herbs.
  5. In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup with sour cream, half of the shredded cheese, minced garlic, and chopped onion until smooth.
  6. Add chicken, turkey bacon, and chicken ham to the sauce; stir gently to combine.
  7. Spread mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  8. Crush Doritos slightly and sprinkle over the top.
  9. Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese evenly on top of the Doritos.
  10. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the cheese is melted, topping is golden, and sauce is bubbly.
  11. Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
  12. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Substitute vegetables like corn or peas for added nutrition.

Use leftover rotisserie chicken to save time.

Adjust Doritos flavor for variation; spicy or nacho cheese options work well.
