Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and necessary equipment: a large mixing bowl, medium saucepan, spatula, and a resealable bag or bowl for powdered sugar.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and butter together, stirring continuously until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Place Rice Krispies in a large mixing bowl and pour the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over them. Fold gently until every piece is coated.
- Transfer coated cereal into a large resealable bag or bowl with powdered sugar. Seal or stir to ensure even coating.
- Spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool for 10–15 minutes.
- Optional: Mix in extras like mini chocolate chips, crushed nuts, or candy pieces.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.

For smoother coating, use creamy peanut butter.
