- 1 package of cream cheese (softened)
- 1 container of whipped topping
- 1 package of instant chocolate pudding
- 1 cup of mixed berries (or seasonal fruit)
- ½ cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: Halloween-themed sprinkles or edible decorations
Instructions
- Bake the Cake: Prepare the chocolate cake according to the instructions. Let it cool completely. Crumble into medium pieces or cut into cubes.
- Mix the Creamy Filling: In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping gently.
- Prepare the Chocolate Pudding: Whisk the instant chocolate pudding according to package instructions until slightly thickened.
- Layer the Dessert: In a large glass dish, layer cake pieces first, then spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture. Top with chocolate pudding. Repeat layers if desired, ending with pudding.
- Add Fruit and Decorations: Arrange berries over the top layer and sprinkle with Halloween decorations.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Serve: Slice and enjoy chilled.
