  • Total Time: 0 hours
  • Yield: 24 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup shredded coconut (plus extra for rolling)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Measure and prepare all the ingredients.
  2. Place the graham cracker crumbs in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the sweetened condensed milk to the crumbs.
  4. Melt the butter until softened, then add it to the bowl.
  5. Pour in the vanilla extract for flavor.
  6. Stir the mixture thoroughly with a spoon or spatula until it becomes sticky and uniform.
  7. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more condensed milk. If it is too wet, add more crumbs.
  8. Scoop out small portions of the mixture, about one tablespoon each.
  9. Roll each portion into a smooth ball using your hands.
  10. Place shredded coconut into a shallow dish.
  11. Roll each ball in the coconut until fully coated.
  12. Arrange the coated balls on a tray lined with parchment paper.
  13. Refrigerate for at least one hour to set before serving.

Notes

If you prefer less sweetness, use unsweetened coconut.

For variation, roll the balls in cocoa powder instead of coconut.

Adding a spoonful of nut butter gives a richer flavor.

The treats freeze well and can be stored for up to two months.
