Ingredients
For the crust:
- 1 pre-made chocolate cookie crust (or homemade)
For the filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the chocolate whipped cream topping:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Prepare the crust:
Place the store-bought crust on a serving plate or prepare a homemade crust by crushing cookies, mixing with melted butter, pressing into a pie pan, and chilling for 10 minutes. - 2. Make the filling:
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with smooth peanut butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, blending until fully incorporated. - 3. Assemble the pie:
Spoon the filling into the crust and smooth the top with a spatula. Optionally, add crushed peanuts or cookie crumbs. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. - 4. Prepare the chocolate whipped cream:
In a cold bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and cocoa powder until soft peaks form. Avoid overwhipping to maintain smoothness. - 5. Top the pie:
Spread or pipe the chocolate whipped cream over the chilled filling. Garnish with chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips if desired. - 6. Serve:
Slice using a knife dipped in warm water for clean cuts. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Notes
Customize by adding caramel drizzle, crushed nuts, or cookie crumbs.
Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth filling.
For extra firmness, chill the pie longer before serving.
