Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup protein powder (flavor of your choice)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 large egg
- Optional toppings: sesame seeds, poppy seeds, herbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup protein powder, 1 tbsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp sugar until evenly mixed.
- In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup Greek yogurt with 1 large egg until smooth.
- Gradually fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture with a spatula until a sticky dough forms. Avoid overmixing.
- Lightly flour your hands and surface. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Roll each into a ball and poke a hole in the center, stretching it to form a bagel shape.
- Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet. Brush tops lightly with water or egg wash if desired. Sprinkle optional toppings.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown. Rotate the tray halfway for even baking.
- Transfer bagels to a wire rack to cool slightly before serving.
