Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If using a store-bought graham cracker crust, place it on a baking sheet.
  3. If making from scratch, crush roughly 10 graham crackers into fine crumbs and mix with 5 tablespoons melted butter until combined.
  4. Press the graham cracker mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a pie dish.
  5. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl or over low heat in a double boiler, melt about 4 ounces of bittersweet chocolate until smooth.
  7. Stir frequently to avoid burning the chocolate.
  8. In a large mixing bowl, combine one can (14 ounces) of sweetened condensed milk with two eggs at room temperature.
  9. Add the melted chocolate along with 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  10. Whisk until everything is well blended.
