- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter (or almond butter)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 50 g dark chocolate (or sugar-free chocolate)
- 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts
- Optional: a pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Peel bananas and slice into ½-inch rounds. Arrange on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 1 hour.
- In a small bowl, mix peanut butter with honey or maple syrup until smooth. Add a pinch of sea salt.
- Spread a small spoonful of peanut butter mixture on one banana slice and top with another slice to form a sandwich. Repeat with remaining slices.
- Chop and melt dark chocolate until smooth.
- Dip each banana sandwich into melted chocolate, letting excess drip off. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts immediately.
- Place coated sandwiches back on parchment-lined tray and freeze for 1–2 hours until chocolate hardens.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer.
Notes
Bananas must be ripe for natural sweetness.
Chocolate must be fully melted but not too runny.
Customize toppings or nut butter to suit preferences.
