Ingredients

  • Fresh eggs
  • Filtered or distilled water
  • A pinch of salt, preferably sea salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional), such as chopped chives, parsley, or dill

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 270 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grab some small ramekins or silicone cups and lightly spray them with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Gently crack one egg into each prepared cup, being careful not to break the yolk.
  4. Pour about two tablespoons of water into each cup and sprinkle a pinch of salt and freshly cracked pepper over each egg.
  5. Carefully place the cups into the preheated air fryer basket and set your timer for six minutes.
  6. Once cooked, carefully remove the cups from the air fryer and gently slide out each poached egg onto toasted bread or a bed of sautéed spinach. Garnish with additional herbs if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftover poached eggs gently covered in the fridge.

Reheat eggs quickly in the air fryer for best results.

Serve with toast and avocado slices.
