Instructions
- In a heatproof bowl, combine 1 cup of dark chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.
- Place over a small saucepan filled with simmering water and stir until melted and smooth.
- In another bowl, mix together 1 cup of finely chopped dried cherries, 1 cup of finely chopped walnuts, and 1 teaspoon of bourbon flavoring until evenly distributed.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture into your cherry-walnut blend.
- Stir until all ingredients are completely coated in chocolate.
- Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, shape the mixture into balls about one inch in diameter.
- Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until firm.
- Once chilled, roll each ball in unsweetened cocoa powder or confectioners' sugar until fully coated.
