Instructions

- Add one tablespoon of sesame oil and let it warm up until fragrant.
- Add 1 pound of ground chicken, 1 cup of shredded cabbage, ½ cup of finely chopped green onions, and two tablespoons of grated ginger.
- Cook while stirring occasionally until the chicken is browned through—about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in three tablespoons of soy sauce and freshly cracked black pepper to taste.
- Mix well to ensure all ingredients are combined evenly.
- Cook for another minute or two to let the flavors meld together.
- Take out your wonton wrappers and lay them on a clean surface.
- Spoon about one tablespoon of your filling mixture into the center of each wrapper.
- Moisten the edges with water to help seal them.
- Fold each wrapper over to create a triangle shape and press down firmly to seal.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Arrange the filled pies on the baking sheet and brush their tops lightly with sesame oil.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with more chopped green onions if desired, then serve immediately while they’re still warm.
