  • 1 cup crab meat, fresh or canned
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine crab meat, panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and chopped green onions.
  3. Gently fold these ingredients together until well mixed.
  4. Sprinkle in cayenne pepper and mix gently again.
  5. Using your hands or two spoons, scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and form it into small balls or patties.
  6. Lay them on a greased baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Place your baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  8. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  9. Garnish with additional green onions or serve alongside cocktail sauce or lemon wedges for dipping.
