- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Thoroughly wash 2 cups of fresh spinach under cold water.
- Chop the spinach finely and set aside.
- Sauté the chopped spinach in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until wilted for about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, add 8 ounces of softened cream cheese and 1 cup of sour cream.
- Use an electric mixer on low speed until smooth and creamy for about 1-2 minutes.
- Carefully fold in the cooked shrimp, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped spinach, and garlic powder into the cream mixture.
- Taste the mixture and adjust seasonings as needed, adding salt and pepper according to your preference.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Transfer the dip mixture into an oven-safe dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake uncovered for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown on top and bubbly around the edges.
- Once out of the oven, let it cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with extra Parmesan or fresh herbs like parsley, if desired.
- Serve immediately with crispy pita chips or assorted veggies for dipping.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container.
