  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup cooked chicken sausage or turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, crack six large eggs and whisk them together until well combined.
  4. Add one cup of whole milk and half a cup of maple syrup into the egg mixture and whisk until blended smoothly.
  5. In another bowl, combine two cups of pancake mix with one teaspoon of baking powder.
  6. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Fold in one cup of cooked chicken sausage or turkey bacon (chopped) along with one cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Pour your batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly with a spatula.
  9. Place your casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until puffed up and golden brown on top.
