- 2 cups finely grated carrots
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the finely grated carrots, unsweetened applesauce, and melted coconut oil. Stir until well mixed.
- Gently fold in the whole wheat flour, rolled oats, and cinnamon (if using) into the carrot-apple mixture.
- Using your hands or a cookie scoop, form small balls or flat discs about 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheets.
- Place the baking sheets in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool completely on wire racks.
- Serve one to your excited pup!
