- 2 jalapeños, finely diced and seeds removed
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- olive oil for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, and dried oregano.
- Mix until fully combined.
- Unfold one sheet of thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Roll it out gently with a rolling pin until it's about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut the pastry into strips about 2 inches wide.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of filling onto one end of each strip.
- Fold over the pastry and twist it tightly around itself to encase the filling.
- Place your twisted pastries on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush each twist lightly with olive oil.
- Bake in your preheated oven for about 18-20 minutes or until they are puffed up and golden brown.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container.
Reheat in the oven for crispiness.
Serve with ranch dressing dip.
