Instructions
- Clear your kitchen counter or table to have enough room to work comfortably.
- Gather all your ingredients and tools: mixing bowls, spatula, measuring cups, and plastic wrap.
- In a large mixing bowl, add room-temperature cream cheese along with powdered sugar.
- Using an electric mixer on medium speed, blend until smooth and creamy—about 2 minutes.
- Fold in finely chopped pecans and vanilla extract into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula.
- Sprinkle in vanilla wafer crumbs along with semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Gently mix everything until well combined.
- Using your hands, scoop out about a tablespoon's worth of mixture and roll it into small balls.
- Place each ball onto a lined baking sheet.
- Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Notes
Store pecan pie balls in airtight containers.
Reheat in the oven at 350°F.
Serve with whipped cream topping.
