- 2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1 teaspoon salt.
- In another bowl, beat together ½ cup softened unsalted butter with ½ cup granulated sugar and ½ cup brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Crack in two large eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula until just combined.
- Gently fold in 1 cup of chopped and toasted pecans until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top with a spatula. Bake for about 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow your Sweet Alabama Pecan Bread to cool in its pan for about ten minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
