  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup mini pretzels
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • creamy caramel sauce, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together ½ cup of softened unsalted butter with ¾ cup each of brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in 2 large eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

  7. Pour the batter into your prepared pan and smooth out the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown around the edges but still soft in the center.
