- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 8 oz of softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup of sour cream. Use an electric mixer or sturdy spatula to mix until completely smooth and fluffy.
- Fold in 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese along with 1 tsp of garlic powder and 1 tsp of onion powder. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.
- Gently fold in 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes, 1/4 cup of chopped green onions, and finely chopped jalapeño pepper if using. Mix just until combined.
- Taste your mixture and sprinkle in salt and pepper according to your preference.
- Transfer your mixture into an oven-safe baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake at 350°F for about 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let everyone dig in while it's still hot. Garnish with additional green onions or diced tomatoes if desired. Serve with crispy tortilla chips or fresh veggies for dipping.
