Ingredients
Scale
- bagel dough (store-bought or homemade)
- plain Greek yogurt, thick and creamy
- diced cooked chicken, seasoned or marinated
- shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar), fresh mozzarella preferred
- chopped herbs (like chives or parsley), fresh
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out your bagel dough on a floured surface until it’s about half an inch thick.
- Using a round cutter (or even a glass), cut out circles from the dough.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, diced cooked chicken, shredded cheese, and chopped herbs.
- Stir together until everything is well mixed.
- Take each dough circle and place about a tablespoon of filling in the center.
- Fold over each circle into half-moons and pinch the edges tightly to seal them.
- Place your assembled bites on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush each one generously with the egg wash using a pastry brush.
- Pop those beauties into your preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until they’re golden brown and puffed up.
